India’s most loved streaming platform Amazon Prime Video that announced the slate of its upcoming series and movies last month, has now come up with a big collaboration with Bollywood’s one of the ace- filmmakers Sajid Nadiadwala, who in the past, gave many hit movies like Housefull, Baaghi, Kick and many others.
Today, on May 30, 2022, the streamer announced a worldwide exclusive, multi licensing collaboration with the filmmaker’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE), one of counties most famous entertainment brands.
The deal will bring the biggest and best of Bollywood movies to the fans in over 240 countries and union territories and as part of this deal, Prime Video will be the worldwide home to the upcoming slate of 6 movies after their theater release.
These films also include Bawaal, Baghi 4 and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Sanki, that was earlier said to be titled as Lion and many others. In this article we are going to discuss SRK’s Sanki.
Sanki Cast & Crew
The film is going to mark the first collaboration of Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan with South Indian film Industries most celebrated director Atlee, who has directed acclaimed films like Raja Rani, Theri, Mersal and Bigil. Sanki marks the 5th directorial venture of the filmmakers.
The fans of the actor-director duo are very excited for this biggest collaboration. Apart from this collaboration another thing that is creating immense buzz is that lady superstar Nayanthara will play opposite SRK in Sanki. It will be super- exciting to watch two power houses of talent on the same stage.
Meanwhile, SRK is busy filming his upcoming Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki while his most awaited Pathaan is under post-production work, and is set to release on January 23, 2023. Talking about Nayanthara, she is currently filming for her upcoming films titled Godfather and Connect. Sanki will mark the actress’s debut in Bollywood.
Sanki When & Where to Watch?
As of now, there is no official announcement regarding the official release date of the film but one thing is clear that the film will first have a grand theatre-release and after that it will be available on Amazon Prime Video for all Prime members. In addition to this, the film will also be available “to-rent” on Amazon Prime Video for all Amazon customers (Prime or otherwise) in the “Early Access Rental window”.
