Amitabh Bachchan will headline the upcoming courtroom drama thriller, ‘Section 84’. The film will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Film Hangar and Saraswati Entertainment in association with Jio Studios.
It will mark the third collaboration between Senior Bachchan and Dasgupta after 2014 miniseries Yudh and 2016 film Teen. Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai which was one of the few box office hits in 2022.

Section 84 has been announced by Big B himself, taking to twitter on March 1, 2023, Amitabh Bachchan shared a 15 seconds announcement video via social media platforms.

Amitabh Bachchan will play the main lead, he is playing a lawyer in the film. Other cast memebers are under the wraps.
Apart from this courtroom drama, Big B has several intersting movies for the coming years. He will be seen portraying key roles in Ganapth-Part 1 featuring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, and Prabhas & Deepika starrer Project K. As per the reports, Big B has shot for a cameo in R Balki’s Ghoomer and will feature in The Intern remake co-starring Deepika Padukone
All About Section 84
Apart from directing, Ribh Dasgupta is also the writer of Section 84. On the collaboration with Big B, Dasgupta said, “I feel happy, blessed and honored to collaborate with Sir Bachchan again. Looking forward to it.”
