How could you forget the child artist from the iconic film Dangal? The sudden demise of such an adorable girl has left the entire industry in a huge shock. The girl who played the champion wrestler Babita Phogat in the movie is no longer with us, she was just 19 years old at the time of her death.
Suhani Bhatnagar was admitted to AIIMS Delhi and was undergoing treatment. She fractured her leg and was under medication, but her body reacted to the medication and began to accumulate fluid, which eventually caused the young girl’s death.

Suhani was born on June 14, 2004, in Faridabad, Haryana. Her father, Puneet Bhatnagar, and mother, Pooja Bhatnagar, always helped her achieve her goal of becoming an actor. Suhani also has a younger brother. According to her parents, she aimed to continue acting after studying, she was a brilliant student who also topped the last semester.
Bhatnagar used to study at Delhi Public School. She was among 25,000 girls who auditioned for the movie Dangal, and eventually, after a lot of struggle and waiting, she got the character of Babita Phogat.
Apart from Suhani, the movie also features Aamir Khan, who played the role of her father. Sakshi Tanwar played the role of Suhani’s mother. National Award winner Zaira Waseem played the role of Suhani’s elder sister (Geeta Phogat) in the movie. Now Zaira Waseem has also left the industry due to her faith.
