Acclaimed American superhero series The Boys is set to return with its Season 4 soon, after delivering 3 superhit seasons. Created by Eric Kripke, the series is based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

The first season of the show premiered in July 2019 following the second in September 20220. The Season 3 was released in two parts with the first 3 being released on June 3, 2022 and rest of the 3 episodes ran until July 8, 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.

All the seasons of The Boys received largely positive reviews and critical praises from the critics for its screenplay, black humour, action sequences, character development, storyline and performances. It was renewed for Season 4 on June 10, 2022.

Title of The Boys Season 4 Premiere- Episode Revealed

The makers of the series on Monday, August 22, 2022, revealed the title of the first episode of The Boys Season 4. Its maker Eric posted a shot of the script, in which revealed the title first episode as “Department of Dirty Tricks’ ‘, which is the 401st episode of the entire series. This episode is  written by David Reed and is directed by Phil Sgriccia.

About the Series

The series revolves around superpower individuals called Super, who work for a powerful corporation called Vought International that markets and monetises them.  Outside their heroic persona, most of them are arrogant, selfish and corrupt. The series primarily focuses on two groups- the Seven, Vought’s Premiere Individual superhero team and The Boys, vigilantes looking to bring down Vought and its corrupt superheros.
