1- Kapil Sharma
If we are talking about Indian Comedians then no comedian in history can touch the fame of Kapil Sharma. Kapil was born on 2 April 1981 in Amritsar, Punjab, Kapil Sharma rose to fame after winning the comedy reality television show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007 and after that Kapil participated in Sony’s Comedy Circus and he broke all the records and won 6 seasons of the show.
Kapil also hosted the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6 and another comedy show Chhote Miya. Kapil Sharma was featured as a contestant in the show Ustaadon Ka Ustaad in the year 2008.
In the year 2013 Kapil launched his own show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, under his banner K9 Productions on Colors and after that show Kapil became the household name and even today he is among the biggest Comedians in India.

2- Raju Srivastava
Raju Srivastava was born on 25 December 1963 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Raju started his career by doing small roles in Bollywood films and his notable work include the movies Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar and Bombay to Goa.
Raju started doing stand up comedy with the show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and he became the second runner-up of the show, subsequently he took part in the spin-off, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions, in which he won the title of “The King of Comedy.”
Raju also participated in the reality TV show Bigg Boss season 3 and after that he participated in the comedy show ‘Comedy ka Maha Muqabala.’

3- Johnny Lever
Johnny Lever was born on 14 August 1957 in Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh. He is one of India’s first ever standup comedians, Johnny did several odd jobs like selling pens on roads and later he started doing stand-up comedy in musical shows, Tabassum Hit Parade and after earning some fame he joined the group of Kalyanji-Anandji, a music direction duo.
He also recorded a comedy cassette called Hasi Ke Hangame which gave him recognition at homes via the audio mode. In the year 1986, he performed in a charity show Hope 86 in front of members of the Hindi film industry and producer Gul Anand recognized his talent and offered him the film Jalwa, alongside Naseeruddin Shah.
Johnny Lever did 100s of movies in his career and several television shows and in the year 2007 he became the judge on the stand-up reality show Comedy Circus.
Johnny Lever is also the president of MAAM (Mimicry Artist Association Mumbai).

4- Sunil Grover
Sunil Grover was born on 3rd August 2022 in Mandi Dabwali town of Sirsa district, Haryana. Late satirist and comedian Jaspal Bhatti discovered Sunil Grove during his college days.
Sunil was also the part of India’s first silent comedy show, SAB TV’s Gutur Gu and after that Sunil joined the show Comedy Nights of Kapil and he got a lot of recognition for playing the character of Gutthi, Rinku Bhabhi and Mashhoor Gulati.
Grover is also famous for mimicking bollywood actors and soon after he left the Kapil Sharma Show, he started his own show on star plus named ‘Kanpur Wale Khuranas’. In the year 2016, Grover debuted in the Punjab film industry with Vaisakhi List movie and in the same year he was featured in Baghi Movie.
He has done a few web series including Tandav and Sunflower.

5- Bharti Singh
Bharti Singh is one of the very few female comedians who is as successful as other comedians in this list. She was born on 3rd July 1984 in Amritsar, Punjab and both her parents are from Punjab but his father also has ancestry from Nepal.
Bharti started her career from the great Indian Laughter Challenge and she became the second runner up of the show, after that she was featured in the show Comedy Circus and her character Lalli became very popular from that show. She hosted the show Comedy Nights Bachao along with Krishna Abhishek.
Bharti hosted several Reality shows and she also participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye and Fear Factor. Bharti and her Husband Harsh Limbachiya also run a very successful game show called Khatra , Khatra, Khatra.

6- Krushna Abhishek
Krushna Abhishek was born 30 May 1983 and he is the nephew of superstar Govinda. Krushna made his Hindi film debut with movie Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat Hai in the year 2002, and has acted in films like Hum Tum Aur Mother, Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega, and Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya in the same year.
He was the part of various seasons of stand-up comedy show, Comedy Circus, including, Comedy Circus 2 (2008), Comedy Circus 3 (2009). Krushna also participated in the celebrity couple dance-reality shows including Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Krushna is also a part of Kapil Sharma Show and his character Sapna is very famous from the show.

7- Sudesh Lehri
Sudesh Lehri was born on 27 October 1968 in Jalandhar, Punjab. Lehri started his career as an actor in the Punjabi Film Industry and later in the year 2007, he participated in the standup comedy show,The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
Sudesh Lehri also participated in the show Comedy Circus as a contestant with Krushna Abhishek and Together both of them won three seasons and quickly gained popularity as duo”Krushna-Sudesh”.
The duo also appeared on Comedy Nights Bachao, Comedy Nights Live, and Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza. He was also the part of the comedy show ‘The Drama Company’ on Sony Entertainment Television, in which he appears with Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty.
Sudesh and Krushna Abhishek reunited after 4 years on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’ and he is also a very good singer.

8- Sungandha Mishra
Sugandha Mishra was born on 23 May, 1988 in Jalandhar, Punjab. She is a classically trained singer and she is the fourth generation of her family into singing, she was classically trained by her grandfather Pt. Shankar Lal Mishra who was a disciple of Ustaad Amir Khan Sahib.
Sugandha was a participant on the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar and she became third-runner up in the show. After that, she appeared in the TV comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge as a participant and became one of the finalists in the show.
She also gave her voice in several Bollywood songs in the movies like Shree and Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal. She also hosted many shows.
Sugandha made her acting debut on the big screen with the movie Heropanti in the year 2014 in a supporting role. She has also appeared on many TV shows like Dance Plus, IPL Extra Inning, Baal Veer, The Kapil Sharma Show, The Drama Company.

9- Jamie Lever
Jamie Lever was born on 19 October 1987 and she is the daughter of one of the very famous comedians Johnny Lever. Before starting her career in the entertainment industry Jamie worked as a marketing executive at the London-based market research agency Visiongain.
She has performed at The Comedy Store, Mumbai from 2012 as a stand-up comedian and also participated in the show Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali on Sony Entertainment Television in 2013. Jamie has also worked as a host and has hosted several shows.
Jamie was the part of several bollywood movies including Kis Kis ko pyaar karo, Housefull4, and Bhoot Police. Jamie has performed as a standup comedian in several shows and she is quite famous for mimicking bollywood stars like Kangana Ranaut and Farah Khan.
Jamie is quite active on social media and she also has a youtube channel.

10- Kiku Sharda
Kiku Sharda was born on 14 February 1975 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He started his career by playing the character of Hobo in Hatim, Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule in F.I.R and Akbar in the comedy show Akbar Birbal.
Kiku Sharda has also worked in Comedy Nights with Kapil, where he played the role of Palak. He also participated in the Dance reality show Nach Baliye 6 in 2013 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 in 2014. He was last seen in The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV portraying various roles including Santosh and Bumper and the famous character of Baccha Yadav, and he also plays the character of the brother of Baccha Yadav.
Kiku Sharda is now a household name and he is very talented and goofy.
