A very unexpected story came from the television industry, where a young actress named Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the set of a serial in Vasai, Palghar district, on Saturday. According to various news reports, Tunisha Sharma committed suicide.
Tunisha was a well-known television actress, and she had worked with many celebrities from Bollywood as well. According to the postmortem report, Tunisia died of suffocation after hanging.
Was Tunisha seeing her co-star?
Prior to her suicide, Tunisha was playing the character of Shehzaadi Mariam in SAB TV’s Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. Several rumours circulated that she was dating her co-star Sheezan M. Khan.

The BJP MLA Girish Mahajan is trying to give this case a political angle, and he claimed that the reason behind Tunisha’s suicide is love jihad. While Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Chandrakant Jadhav said that there is no evidence of any other affair, blackmailing, or “love jihad” as of now.
