Vaani Kapoor was born on 23rd August 1988 in Delhi, did schooling at Mata Jai Kaur Public School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi.

The actress joined Indira Gandhi National Open University to complete graduation through tourism studies.

In 2008, she started her modeling career under Elite Model Management. An ambitious young Vaani Kapoor auditioned for Television Series Specials @ 10 and was selected for a role in 2009.

Vaani Kapoor appreciated her first segment of that television series ‘Rajuben’ and signed for three movies with Yash Raj Films later.

So she debuted in 2013 through Maneesh Sharma directed Shuddh Desi Romance but played a supporting role along with leads Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra.

After Shuddh Desi Romance, Vaani Kapoor acted in a Tamil-Telugu Film Aaha Kalyanam (2014) is a remake of Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma starrer Band Baja Baarat (2010).
