Meta has banned social media influencer, Andrew Tate from Facebook and Instagram for violating its policies. He is quite known for his misogynist comments on social media platforms and he was also banned from tiktok where he had more than 1,00,000 followers.
A Meta spokesperson confirmed that Andrew Tate is no longer allowed to use Facebook and Instagram as a result of violating company policies, citing Meta’s guidelines on “dangerous individuals and organizations.”
Who is Andrew Tate?
Andrew Tate is a 35-year-old, was born in Chicago, USA, and raised in Luton, England, Tate now lives in Romania. He was a Kickboxer and he has been a four-time World Kickboxing Champion and he runs an online course named “modern wealth creation” at his own University “Hustlers University”.
Tate made his appearance on Big Brother in the UK in the year 2016 and he got evicted, when a controversial video of him beating a woman with a belt surfaced online. He has made several misogynistic, sexual and hateful comments.
Around last month, Tate generated more google searches than social media influencer Kim Kardashian and former President Donald Trump. On social media, Tate is widely famous for sharing pictures and videos of him with cars and guns.
Before Ban he had a huge following of 4.7 million people on Instagram.

In the year 2017, Tate made a very misogynistic remark that “women should bear some responsibility for being sexually assaulted”, After this Twitter permanently banned him from the platform.

In a recent Interview Tate said he was banned because of his old videos, where he was playing a comedic character and he was taken out of context. He also added that he has nothing but positivity to spread regarding all people, whether male or female, and this has been reflected in all of his recent messaging and posts.
He also claimed that Instagram ignored his charities supporting women and his videos explaining that his mother was his hero.
A social media user claimed that he is banned from TikTok as well:
