From the past few years, we have heard bad news about the passing away of many stars of the Indian cinema as well as the music industry. From Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor to Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, to big singers such as Lata Mangeshkar, Bappi Lahiri and the most recent ones Sidhu Moosewala and KK.
In just a few months, we have lost the gems of the country. In the meantime, another sad news is coming from Bollywood that we have lost one more actor in the industry. We are talking about veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi, who despite working with big stars of Bollywood, was an underrated name of the Industry.
About Mithilesh Chaturvedi
Mithilesh Chaturvedi was born on October 15, 1954. He was a resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. After completing his studies, he chose acting as his career and joined theater. Although not much is available in the public domain about the actor’s family, it is said that he has a daughter Niharika Chaturvedi, who is married to Ashish Chaturvedi.
The Reason Behind His Death
He passed away in his hometown Lucknow in the evening on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. He was reportedly suffering from a heart ailment and was being treated in the city where he took his last breath. As per reports, he had suffered a heart attack earlier after which he had shifted back to his hometown to get treated and be recovered, but unfortunately, lost the battle of life at the age of 68.

TV Shows & Movies He Worked In
The actor had been active in the industry since the 90s. One of his popular series is Neeli Chhatri Wale, a comedy show in which he played the character of Atmaram Choubey. The show became quite popular and used to be premiered on Zee TV (August 2014-August 2016).
He started his career in movies with the 1997 film titled Bhai Bhai. He also worked in popular films such as Satya, Koi.. Mil Gaya, Bunty Aur Babli, Krrish, My Friend Pinto, Mohalla Assi etc.
He also appeared in Sony LIV’s acclaimed web-show Scam 1992, starring Pratik Gandhi in the lead role. In the show he played the role of Indian lawyer Ram Jethmalani. He last appeared in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmaan Khurrana.
