Bollywood action star John Abraham’s upcoming sci-fi action film Attack will soon be gracing the cinemas. John along with acting also co-produced the film with Jayantilal Gada and Ajay Kapoor.
John starrer follows the story of an army veteran who is now all geared up to become India’s first super-soldier to combat terrorism. John will be the first prototype in the film, of the AI super-soldiers to deal with technology-based future warfare from the country’s adversaries.
This Big-budget flick will be imbued with high octane action sequences and rich VFX. John, who is one of the producers, said in an interview that they have spent around 30% of their budget on visual effects.
Attack Release Date
John also said that they have focused more on VFX than the actors, and tried to give the best in their capability. Now, it’s the audience to decide how they respond to the film which is scheduled to release on 1 April 2022.

John also intended that they will be back with part2 of the film and already signed a sequel ahead of the film’s release.

- Rakul Preet Singh will be seen portraying Doctor Jiyaa,
- Jacqueline Fernandez will reportedly play John’s love interest,
- Prakash Raj as his boss and Ratna Pathak as the protagonist’s mother,
- Kiran Kumar and Ratna Pathak Shah will also be seen playing pivotal roles.
OTT Release Date
The post-theatrical digital rights of the film are acquired by the leading streaming platform Zee5, as the producer, Jayantilal Gada’s other film’s like R.R.R also will be premiered on the platform.
John Abraham’s latest failure to see its premiere on the platform after around couple of months of its theatrical run as the film seems badly performing at the box office. So, we could see the premiere of the film this month itself, Zee5 shares its OTT release ’27 May 2022′:

So far there’s been two trailers is released by the makers on the social media platform, and both are well received by the viewers. The two trailers have been collectively viewed over 5.2 crore times (as of March 23).

As per the trailer, the film promises to be a chock-a-block action thriller in addition to visual effects, fans are eager to watch John again on the silver screens in an action avatar.

Lakshya Raj Anand directed as well as co-wrote the film with Sumit Batheja and Vishal Kapoor. Attack is backed by Jayantilal Gada, John, and Ajay under the banner JA Entertainment, AK Productions, and Pen India Limited.
