LIC ADO 2023 Eligibility Critiera
Before applying for the position of Apprentice Development Officer, candidates are recommended to review the LIC ADO 2023 eligibility requirements. LIC ADO 2023 Selection Process
The selection process for the ADO post is done through a four-phase examination process that includes a preliminary exam, a main exam, and an interview, followed by a medical examination. Those who pass all of the rounds of the LIC ADO 2023 Selection process will be appointed to LIC ADO posts. Selected candidates for the ADO post will undergo theoretical and field sales training.
After successfully completing the apprenticeship, candidates will be promoted to probationary development.
Stage I- Preliminary Exam
- The online exam will be conducted only for Open Market Category candidates.
- The paper will consist of 100 objective-type questions worth 70 marks.
- The paper is divided into three sections. Candidates will be given 20 minutes to complete each section.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
- The English section is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in this round will not be included in the final selection.
Stage II-Main Exam
- The main examination is conducted for all the categories: open market category (prelims shortlisted candidates), LIC employee and LIC agent.
- There will be separate papers for all three categories.
- The main exam is divided into three sections.
- The online exam consists of 160 marks that candidates have to finish within the time slot of 120 minutes.
Stage III-Interview
- Candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of marks obtained in the main examination.
- The 40-mark interview comprises aptitude-based questions to assess the applicant’s capacity.
Stage IV-Medical Examination
- The medical exam will be conducted for all the shortlisted candidates, and only after the medical round has been conducted will the final merit list be prepared.
- Those candidates who are physically fit will be selected for the post of Apprentice Development Officer.
