The last time the ICC World Cup was held was in 2019, and England was the host of the tournament, and they also won the tournament that year. Among all the teams, Australia is considered the most successful in terms of ODI, and so far they’ve won five World Cups.
Apart from Australia, the West Indies are considered successful because they have managed to win the ICC World Cup more than once.
Whereas, the T20 format in the World Cup is comparatively new, and the first ICC T20 World Cup was held in 2007. In the T20 format, both England and Australia are considered successful teams as both have won the title twice.
