The Board of Cricket Council of India has appointed the former Indian fast bowler Ajit Agarkar as the new chairman of selectors for the Indian men’s team. Agarkar is the fifth member of the India men’s selection team.

Who is Ajit Agarkar?

Agarkar was born on December 4, 1977, and he is a former cricketer and commentator. Agarkar was fond of Cricket since his childhood; he started out as a batsman as a child before he was entrusted to cricket coach Ramakant Achrekar by his father.
Agarkar did his schooling at the Indian Education Society, Mumbai, and Shardashram Vidyamandir International School, Mumbai. Later, he pursued his graduation from D.G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science, and Commerce at Matunga, Mumbai.
