Date and Time of the Punjab Police Constable Exam 2022
As per the latest notification, the selection for the Punjab police constable post will start on 14-October-2022 and end on 16-October-2022.
- 14-October-2022(09:00 a.m.–12:00 a.m.) Constable (Intelligence and Investigation)
- 15-October-2022: Head constable (Investigation Cadre)
- 16-October-2022: Sub-Inspection (investigation and intelligence cadres)
The exam will be conducted in two shifts, except 14-October-2022.
Paper 1-09:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
Paper 2 – 03:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m
Age limit
Candidates who will appear in the exam should be aged between 18 and 28 years. However, candidates who belong to ST/SC will get age relaxation up to 33 years.
Education Qualification
Only those candidates who have the following educational qualifications can appear in the examination for Punjab police constable.
- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university or institute.
- passed metric with Punjabi as a subject.
Selection procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the following:
- Written exam
- PMT and PST
- Medical exam
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The Punjab police written exam consists of a total of 100 questions related to general awareness, quantitative aptitude and numerical skills, digital literacy and computer knowledge, mental ability and logical reasoning, and language.
- The recruitment of candidates will be done through an OMR-based examination. Note that there is no negative marking.
- Candidates can give exams in both English and Punjabi language.
- The duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
- The nature of the exam is objective in type.
