The third season of John Krasinski’s superhit political thriller web series Jack Ryan is all set to premiere on the digital platform Amazon Prime soon. Season 3 was renewed in Feb 2019, eight months ahead of the season 2 release.
For the unversed, Jack Ryan is a political thriller web series, the two-season of it has gained wide popularity across the globe and has an IMDb rating of 8 out of 10. The show is based on the American novelist Tom Clancy’s characters.
The series tells the story of Jack Ryan a CIA analyst and explores his journey from the desk job into the field. In the third season, Ryan finds himself in trouble from two sides as he found a signal of a global conflict, now his own CIA and a terrorist organization are after him.

The shooting of the third season has been completed in May, and it was expected to hit the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video in June 2022, as per an interview with Krasinski who also serves as the executive producer of the show, finally locked for 21 December 2022:

Let us also inform you that Amazon recently canceled the series after the fourth season, reportedly the shooting of the fourth season is en route. However, the rumors are rife that there will be spin-off series that will appear on the platform by the year 2023.

Reportedly, Narcos: Mexico fame Michael Pena will appear in the last episode of the third season and then will be doing a full-fledged role in the fourth.
Along with Jack Krasinski returning cast members in season 3 are Wendell Pierce Jack Ryan’s boss (James Greer) and Michael Kelly (Mike November), other casts joining them are Betty Gabriel (Elizabeth Wright), James Cosmo (Luca), Peter Guinness (Petr), Nina Hoss (Alena), Alexei Mavelov (Alexei).
