Jug Jugg Jeeyo is an upcoming big banner Bollywood romantic drama that is going to entertain you with romance as well as comedy. In the film, Bollywood’s popular star Anil Kapoor and Nitu Singh will be paired for the first time.
Anil Kapoor was last seen in the 2020 black comedy thriller AK vs AK, which was directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by Anurag Kashyap and the team.
If we talk about Neetu Singh, she is making a grand comeback with this movie, after a 9-year long period. She was last seen in Abhinav Kashyap’s 2013 Bollywood action comedy film Besharam starring her son and Bollywood’s big star Ranbir Kapoor.
Her late husband, Bollywood’s most successful and veteran star Rishi Kapoor also featured in the film. Neetu and Rishi both played the role of husband-wife namely Head Constable Bulbul Chauta and Inspector Chulbul Chautala in the film.
Although the film was a below-average movie and turned out to be one of the biggest flops, the chemistry between this real-life husband-wife in the film was appreciated by the audience.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo Release Date
The makers of this most-anticipated comedy-drama have announced the official release date and revealed that it will have a theater release during the summer season, on June 24, 2022.
On November 20, 2021, Bollywood’s popular director/producer Karan Johar dropped a 33-second long, first motion poster of the movie. The theme of this motion poster was a wedding invitation card with names of all the leading stars and makers mentioned there.
The makers of the movie have not made any official announcement whether the film is going to have a post-theatrical OTT release or not. The shooting/filming of this romantic comedy-drama began in November 2020 in Chandigarh and it was wrapped up a year after, in November 2021.

The film is helmed by Raj Mehta and it is bankrolled by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar, in association with Apoorva Mehta, under the banner of Dharma Production.
This is the second directorial project as well as the second collaboration of director Raj Mehta, with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, after the 2019 Hindi Comedy Drama Good Newwz, featuring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
If we talk about technical work, the cinematography is handled by Jay Patel while the film has music by one of the youngest and most successful music composers Tanishk Bagchi.
The distribution rights of the film have been acquired by Viacom 18 Studios.
