Indian playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath or KK died at age 53 owing to a massive cardiac arrest after performing a live event at Kolkata.

The singer has recorded many beautiful soulful tracks in multiple languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Odia, etc. He made his Hindi film debut through A.R Rahman’s soundtracks ” College Ke Saathi”, and “Hello Doctor” for the dubbed Hindi version of a Tamil film (Kadhal Desham).

The legendary singer made his name across the nation with Salman Aishwary starrer 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’s song Tadap Tadap Ke.

The same year he also launched his debut album Pal, in which the song of the same name and Yaaron has become popular among the youth and is still commonly used in school farewells.

4- Tuhi Meri Shab Hai

2013 blockbuster romantic musical film Aashiqui 2 song Piya Aaye Na is among one of the most popular songs of KK, in fact the whole album of Aashiqui3 was a huge hit. KK’s song Piya Aaye Na was written by Irshad Kamil and composed by Jeet Ganguli. Female voice given in the song by Tulsi Kumar.
