Shark Tank was loved by the viewers as it was based on a “never seen before”, adopted from America’s business reality show of the same name Which first aired in August 2009 and now running with season 14.
For the Indian audience, which seems bored now, from the typical Saas-Bahu serials and over-exaggerated family dramas, it is a different and interesting concept.
That is why its debut season received huge applause from the audience as well as startups. It not only gained popularity but also empowered the startup ecosystem.
It shows entrepreneurs/contestants, who are called Pitchers, coming from different places in the country and making business presentations to a panel of popular investors who are called Sharks.
The Sharks, after seeing the presentations, decided whether to invest in the company or not.
Ever since the show premiered the judges or Sharks of the show also made headlines and everyone, who are interested in this kind of show are eager to know more about them and their successful journey.
