SIIMA Awards 2021 Nominations, Ceremony Date, Time Where to Watch Live & More

SIIMA 2020 ceremony was canceled due to covid-19 and the award for years 2019, 2020 are being held in September 2021. SIIMA was inaugurated in 2012 by the founder of Celebrity Cricket League, Vishnuvardhan Induri.

The chairperson of SIIMA is Adusumilli Brinda Prasad. The event is divided into two parts: on the first day, Generation Next Awards honors the most promising upcoming South Indian movie artists and on the second day, the main SIIMA awards are given.

The winners are decided upon by public polling and the nominees are selected by a jury. It is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in India. It is conducted abroad, unlike other South Indian award ceremonies. The first SIIMA awards took place in June 2012 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

But this year, it is going to be held in Hyderabad due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. In 2017, Vibri Media Group added SIIMA short Film Awards category to recognize short films. SIIMA recently declared its nominations for 2021. Dhanush’s Tamil movie ‘Asuran’, Darshan’s Kannada movie ‘Yajamana’, Mahesh Babu’s Telugu movie ‘Maharshi’, and Soubin Shahir’s Malayalam movie ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ are in the most popular categories.

This is the South Indian International Movie Awards official portal where fans can also vote for their favorite star to win among the nominations.

SIIMA Awards 2021 Date Time

The SIIMA Awards 2021 ceremony is scheduled to be held on Sept 18, 19 this year in Hyderabad.
