The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has released a statement in which he says Indian government agents are behind the killing of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Also, the Foreign Minister of Canada announced that they’ve expelled an Indian diplomat for having connections to Nijjar’s killing.
Now the Indian High Command has released a response in which they reject all the claims made by the Canadian Government. Also, India has expelled a senior Canadian diplomat on charges of’interference in India’s domestic affairs and their participation in activities detrimental to India.”
Nijjar’s son reacted to Trudeau

After Trudeau’s statement, various pro-Khalistani leaders are reacting and demanding sanctions on India. However, for the very first time, Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s son has come forward and reacted to the news.
Nijjar’s son said “Three months is a long time, but overall, in general, I wasn’t expecting anything. So when news did come out, I was surprised but it kind of drove away a little bit of anxiety that we were feeling.” His son says there is relief from Monday’s announcement, but adds, for months he and his father were warned of potential danger from India.

Hardeep Singh Nijjar has served as the head of the Surrey Gurdwara organization since 2020 in addition to serving as the leader of the Khalistani Extremist Group, the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). Nijjar used to identify as a Sikh nationalist and claim support for the Sikh right to self-determination and the independence of the Indian Occupied through a vote.
Gajinder Singh, the head of the Dal Khalsa and one of the five hijackers of an Indian Airlines flight in 1981, was also close with Nijjar. Currently, Gajinder Singh is in Pakistan.
