Amrit Udyan, which was formally known as Mughal Gardens, will now be open to visitors. President Draupadi Murmu inaugurated the Udyan Utsav, which will allow the general public to experience the beauty of the Amrit Udyan.
Amrit Udyan consists of the Central Lawn, Long Garden, East Lawn, and Circular Garden. Also, some additional gardens like Herbal-I, Herbal-II, Tactile Garden, Bonsai Garden, and Arogya Vanam were developed during the tenure of former presidents Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (2002-07) and Ram Nath Kovind (2017-22).
There’s a lot to explore for visitors during these trips, such as Theme Graden, Bonsai Garden, Floral Clock, and Musical Fountain. Apart from that, there’s Bal Vatika, which is exclusively curated for children and features a 225-year-old Sheesham tree, a treehouse, and a nature classroom.
