Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant got badly injured after he met with an accident near Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The 25-year-old Indian wicketkeeper was on his way to his home town of Roorkee, Uttarakhand, from Delhi when he met with the near-fatal car accident.
Pant is said to be returning home to surprise his mother and spend the New Year with his family. On Friday, December 30), in the morning, his car collided with the divider and immediately caught fire. Within seconds, the cricketer jumped from the car to save himself.

Ever since this horrific incident took place, the pictures and videos of Pant and his car have been going viral on social media. The pictures that are coming out of the site are dangerous, as we can see the Mercedes car burned to ashes near the Delhi-Dehradun highway, near Roorkee.

Rishabh Pant Gets Hospitalized
Pant was himself driving and was alone in the car when this incident took place. Luckily, Pant managed to get out of the car and was immediately rushed to a local hospital in Roorkee and later shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun.

As we can see in the viral pictures, Pant has sustained injuries on his forehead and at the back. As per reports, there could also be chances of a fracture on his leg. Thankfully, he is out of danger now and is being treated at the Max Hospital after meeting with such type of accident which in the past took the lives of many big celebs.

Rishabh Pant Left Out of Sri Lanka Tour
Rishabh Pant was not included in the Indian squad by the selectors for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour of India for both the ODIs and T20 series. He also didn’t play in ODIs against Bangladesh as the BCCI decided to rest him ahead of the 2-match test series.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he plays for the Delhi Capitals and was named the team’s captain in 2021. He has been retained again as a captain for Delhi Capitals and is one of the most expensive players in the IPL history, having been bought by the franchise for Rs. 16 crore.
