1. Noida Double murder case 2008

2. Pradyuman Thakur murder case
Pradyuman Thakur, a 7-year-old child, was found dead in the school washroom at Ryan International School in Gurugram in September 2017. It was reported that the body of the child was found with injuries and wounds on his neck. The bus conductor was accused of the murder but was later found innocent.
The case was then handled by the CBI, and as per their investigation, a 16-year-old student from the same school was charged with the murder. It was reported that the reason he killed Pradyuman was that he wanted the exam to be postponed. The investigation of the case is still going on, and the trials of the case are yet to begin.
3. Adnan Patrawala murder case
In August 2007, Adnan Patrawala, the son of a rich businessman, was kidnapped, and the kidnappers asked for a ransom of Rs 2 crore. Before anyone could do anything, the kidnappers killed the teenager. It was reported that the moment the kidnapping news broke on TV, they killed Adnan. As per sources, five people were involved in the murder, of whom two were teenagers.
In 2012, the four of them were released from jail after the court said that not enough evidence was found against them. The 16-year-old was found dead in the bushes, and it was reported that those five accused befriended Adnan, interacted with him regularly, and killed him for the need of money, as Adnan belonged to a rich family.
4. Snehal Gaware murder case
Snehal Gaware, a 21-year-old girl who was studying at the Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Andheri, was murdered in July 2007. Snehal lived with her family at the Ninad Society, Dombivalli, and at that time she was recovering from a leg injury and was at home. When Snehal’s mother returned home, she was missing, and Snehla’s parents filed a missing person complaint.
The next morning, Snehal’s mother found her dead body in the drawer of her bed, with her mouth gagged and her hands and legs tied. The police found that Snehal’s mobile phone was missing, and after tracing the phone, it came to light that a young guy had sold the phone. Snehal’s boyfriend was the suspect and was arrested in 2010. However, he was released on the charge of lack of evidence.
5. Amar Singh Chamkila
Amar Singh Chamkila was a well-known Punjabi Singer and musician, who was killed at the age of 27. In May 1988, Amar Singh went to perform at Mesampur Village, and when he was getting out of the car with his wife and two singing partners, Amar Jot and one more.
The moment they all came out, three disguised men arrived riding a motorcycle and shot Amar Singh, his wife, and his two artists. All four of them died and the culprits were not found and the case remained unsolved. However, it was reported that the reason behind the incident was people’s jealousy as Amar Singh gained popularity at a young age.
6. Chekannur Maulavi murder case
Chekannur Maulavi was an Indianmordern islamicist from Chekannur Malappuram, Kerala. Maulavi went missing or disappeared in July 1993 and death remains uncertain. the matter was handled to the CBI but they were also unable to prove in the court that Maulavi is dead.
As per the CBI, W Hamza was the prime suspect in the case and Maulavi was murdered under conspiracy he abducted him and after killing Maulavi he mysteriously disposed of the body so that his body could never be recovered. However, the CBI did not find enough evidence against anyone, and the case remains unsolved and a big mystery.
7. Prithipal Singh murder case
Prithipal Singh was an Indian Hockey player who played as a halfback and was a member of the India National team. He was a well-known hockey player of his time and received the first-ever Arjuna Award in 1961 and he even received Padma Shri in 1967.
In May 1983, Prithipal Singh was shot dead by some students on the campus of the Punjab Agricultural University. Prithipal Singh was 51 at the time of his death. It was reported that political rivals shot the 51-year-old, player and a deep conspiracy was formed by the director of Sports & students welfare at Punjab Agricultural University to kill Prithipal. However, his murder remains unsolved.
8. Hukum Singh murder case
Hukum Singh Rathore was the son of Maharaja Hanwant Singh, ruler of Jodhpur. Hukum Singh’s parents died in an airplane crash when he was less than a year old. Hukum Singh was raised by his stepmother and was happily married. In April 1981, Hukum Singh was found dead and his body was found hacked with his own sword with multiple injuries on his body.
The reason behind the unusual incident was confusing and various stories were made out. Some says that he was drinking with four or other people and had a fight over something and was killed with his own sword. Some people stated that he was sleeping in his charpoy when some assailants came and killed him. The accurate reason behind his death is not known and his death remains unsolved.
9. Sheena Bora murder case
Sheena Bora was a 24-year-old girl who was killed in April 2012. Sheena used to live in Mumbai with her mother, Indrani Mukerjea, and her father Peter Mukerjea. Indrani never revealed to her husband that Sheena is her daughter and stated that she is her sister. Indrani Mukerjea planned Sheena’s murder with her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Shyamwar Rai.
Sheena was called by her mother to meet her and then Indrani killed her with two of them and disposed of Sheena’s body in a Jungle. Indrani, Sanjeev, and driver, Rai were arrested in 2015. However, Sheena’s remains were never found and Indrani claimed that Sheena is alive. Indrani was released on bail in 2022 as the Supreme Court stated that 6.5 years was a long time, while a trial is stuck with almost 200 witnesses more to be examined.
10. The Stoneman mysteries
From 1985 to 1989, a series of similar murders happened in Mumbai and Kolkata. It started in Mumbai when a mysterious person who was named a Stoneman killed people in their sleep. Around 13 people were killed in Kolkata in 1989.
It was anticipated that a single man was responsible for so many murders. In 6 months, a total of 13 people were killed. the Kolkata Police tried hard to reach the killer but never succeeded. However, a total of 26 murders were made by unknown persons and no case has been filed against anyone. The killer and the Stoneman mystery remained unsolved.
11. Suchana Seth Case
Suchana Singh is the founder of an AI-based startup in Bengaluru. She went to Goa with her 4-year-old son and was living in a service apartment, but when she checked out, her son was not there with her. Also, the housekeeping staff noticed some blood stains and informed the police.
Suchana was trying to flee from Goa to Bangalore, and she stuffed the body of her four-year-old son in a suitcase, but police arrested her. Although it has not been revealed why Suchana killed her baby, some reports claim that she killed her son so that her estranged husband could not meet him.
But the police have not revealed a reason why Suchana killed her son.
