Under UP Free Smartphone Scheme 2021 or UP Muft Smartphone Yojana 2021, students will be provided free smartphones for the purpose to develop digital skills, online study, knowledge of gadgets, etc.

Smartphones Yojana was in talking for a long, a few months ago rumors were that Central Government to provide smartphones to the students but Yogi Adityanath surprisingly announced it during addressing the Legislative Assembly Mansson Session in September 2021.
Uttar Pradesh supplementary budget of the financial year 2021-22 is dedicated to the youth, 3000 Crore of this will be used for smartphones and tablets so that the youth can use digital sources.
Reports suggest that several corporate groups, universities, financial institutions are going to contribute to this for the betterment of the state. UP Free smartphones Yojana is the big announcement for youth while there is another big news for the Uttar Pradesh Youth. Yogi’s Government would give exam allowance to the student three times.

The Registration for UP Free Smartphone Yojana 2021 was started in Sep-Oct at the state’s official website ‘up.gov.in’, 7 districts government schools will have the responsibility to distribute them to applicants. UP Government provided a link on their portal up.gov.in where students applied for ‘Up Free Smartphone Yojana 2021’, read before applying for this benefit.
