A disturbing video is going viral on social media from Karnataka, where a man slit his friend’s throat and drank his blood. This horrific incident occurred in Chickballapura district’s Chintamani taluk. This incident shook the entire country, and the accused has been arrested.
The accused has been identified as Vijay, and he is a trader by profession. Also, the man who has been attacked is now safe and is undergoing treatment in the hospital, while the man who made the video was Vijay’s cousin, and he is currently on the run from the police.
Maresh is the name of the victim who was attacked by Vijay; as per sources, Maresh was having an affair with Vijay’s wife. He even tried to get too close to Vijay’s wife, and often the two used to exchange messages.
Vijay even warned Maresh several times to stay away from his wife, but he did not compel him, and then Vijay took him to the forest and attacked him with the help of his cousin.
Who is Accused, Vijay?
Vijay is a 32-year-old trader from Mandyampet, Karnataka. Originally, Vijay hails from Andhra Pradesh but he moved to Chintamani almost 30 years ago. Vijay’s family used to sell edible oil, vegetables, and essential oils.
Vijay used to hire Maresh to transport his goods, and that’s how Maresh and Vijay’s wife came into contact. Vijay got furious after knowing that Maresh was getting close to his wife. Maresh and Vijay’s wife were in constant touch, and they used to chat regularly on their mobile phones, as per police reports.
Maresh Survived the attack
Even after the video, Maresh refused to file a complaint against Vijay. While the police are searching for John Babu, a BCom student who is the cousin of Vijay and is the one who filmed this whole attack.
On June 19, Vijay planned the attack on Maresh, his cousin John Babu called Maresh to arrange his vehicle for transporting goods from Siddepalli Cross to a farm. When Maresh came to the location, Vijay and Babu took him to a sheltered place, where they attacked him.
While Babu recorded the incident, Vijay slit Maresh’s throat with a knife and then sucked blood from his neck. Later, believing he was dead, Vijay left the scene; nevertheless, Maresh lived.
