A new candidate came up for the forthcoming elections of 2024 from the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). Bansuri Swaraj is the Supreme Court advocate and the daughter of Late. Sushma Swaraj and now Bansuri will be contesting from New Delhi.
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the BJP released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, and the list contained the names of 195 candidates. As per the list, the BJP has canceled the ticket of MP Minakshi Lekhi, and now Bnasuri Swaraj will contest in the Lok Sabha consistently in place of her.
