Who is Radhika Gupta?
Radhika Gupta is the CEO and MD of Edelweiss Mutual Fund. She was born on September 14, 1983, in Pakistan. She had a very interesting life as she was the daughter of a diplomat, Yogesh Gupta, and Arti Gupta (the school principal).
As Radhika was the daughter of an Indian Foreign Service official, she spent her childhood in countries like Pakistan, India, Africa, and Europe. She was born with a physical challenge, described as a “weird tilt” to her head.
But she was full of confidence, and her physical challenge did not stop her from becoming a conventional and determined person. Her father’s job had a very significant impact on Radhika’s life, as she saw a diverse world at a very young age.

After that, she was admitted to the Wharton School, and from there she graduated with a Science degree in Economics, with concentrations in Finance and Management. Radhika began her career with Microsoft and after that, she worked with McKinsey and Company, and AQR Capital Management.
Following that, Radhika initiated her venture into Edelweiss Asset Management. Assuming the role of business head for multi-strategy funds within the company, she took charge of defining the strategic course for the team’s investment, distribution, and platform activities.

Radhika Gupta is married to CFA Nalin Moniz. Both Radhika and her husband, Nalin, are graduates of the University of Pennsylvania. Nalin was born in India, and he moved to the US in 2005 to get a degree in finance, statistics, and computer science.
After that, he worked with Goldman Sachs. Returning to India in 2009, he pursued his entrepreneurial dream by establishing Forefront Capital. Within a mere three years, Forefront Capital achieved the distinction of being India’s inaugural licensed domestic hedge fund.
In June 2023, Radhika and Nalin were blessed with a baby boy, and they named him Remy Gupta Moniz.
