Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur Murder case is shocking, as a 59-year-old man was killed by his own relative. More shockingly, the wife couldn’t bear the pain of witnessing the murder of her life partner, she lost her life due to cardiac arrest a few hours after the incident.
The horrible incident took place at an apartment in LIC Colony, opposite the JNU Campus, as per the record of Anantapur I Town Circle Inspector Reddeppa. The accused is identified as Adhitya, who is the nephew of the deceased Murthy Rao Gokhale. The reason is being said the money that Murthy Rao took from Adithya for the placement after the engineering course but failed to fulfill the promise, also couldn’t return the money.
Shobha Gokhale, the wife of the deceased Murthy Rao Gokhale, tried hard to save her husband. She even sustained injuries during the incident but failed to save his life. She passed away a few hours after her husband’s murder by their nephew, Adithya. The bodies of the Gokhale couple were sent to the civil hospital for postmortem.
According to the reports, Murthy Rao Gokhale was working as a guest faculty at SK University after serving as the principal of Ananta Lakshmi Engineering College. During Adithya’s engineering course, Murthy Rao took an undisclosed amount of money from him to secure placement in a reputed MNC. However, Murthy Rao did not fulfill the promise and started avoiding Adithya’s phone calls. Fed up with this situation, Adithya made a plan to kill him.
On the day of the incident, Adithya arrived at Murthy Rao Gokhale’s apartment in LIC Colony, Anantapur. Adithya and Murthy first engaged in an argument. Later, Adithya started attacking with a knife, which he had carried along, and slit his uncle’s throat, who died on the spot. Sobha Gokhale tried to save her husband, even injured during this, she died a few hours later due to cardiac arrest.
