RRB JE Selection Process 2023: The Railway Recruitment Board conducts the RRB JE Exam to recruit candidates for the post of junior engineer in various engineering disciplines. The board will soon publish the RRB JE 2023 recruitment announcement. Candidates must begin their preparation as soon as possible. The RRB JE 2023 selection process includes the following stages:

Selected candidates for the junior engineer position will serve a two-year RRB JE probationary period in which they will receive training to understand the job responsibilities and requirements. After completing two years of service, candidates are appointed as permanent employees of the Indian Railways. 

RRB JE 2023 CBT 1

The first stage of the exam is conducted online via computer-based testing. This is the qualifying round, which consists of four sections: mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, and general science. Candidates should also review the RRB JE 2023 Syllabus in order to understand the subject and topics included in the exam.

• Candidates will get 90 minutes in total to finish all the sections.
• The exam consist of total 100 marks with each question of 1 marks.
• There will be a negative marking of 1/3 mark in this exam.

RRB JE 2023 CBT 1 Exam Pattern

Candidates who meet the CBT 1 cutoff will appear for CBT 2. There are a total of five sections in the exam, which include general awareness, physics and chemistry, the basics of computer application, environmental and pollution control and technical abilities.

• There are a total of 150 questions in the exam that candidates have to answer within the time frame of 120 minutes.
• For each incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 1/3 mark.
• Candidates who clear the exam will be called for the DV round.

RRB JE 2023 Document Verification

The third stage of selection is the DV round. Candidates who will clear both the CBT rounds will be called for the document verification round. Only those candidates who have complete documents will be qualified for the subsequent round. Therefore candidates must check RRB JE 2023 Eligibility Criteria In this round, candidates must carry the originals and photocopies of the following documents.

• Birth certificate
• Photo ID proof
• 10th and 12th grade mark sheets
• Graduation or diploma certificate
• Caste certificate (if any)
• Disability Certificate (if any)
• No Objection Certificate (if any)

RRB JE 2023 Medical Examination

After the document verification rounds, candidates need to go through the medical examination to get selected for the post of junior engineer. Candidates must be physically fit in every aspect.

Candidate must have near vision of 0.6/6.9/6.9 with or without spectacles. The applicant must have a near vision of 0.6 with or without spectacles and pass tests for night vision, binocular vision, colour vision, and field of vision.
