The selection process for SBI SO 2023 recruitment will be exercised in three major stages, including an Online written test, Shortlisting, and Interviews. Candidates aspiring to join as specialist officers must clear all three stages to complete the selection process. The general selection criteria for SBI SO exam usually starts with a written test followed by an interview round and shortlisting.
Administered by SBI, the selection process plays a crucial part for the candidates interested in becoming specialized officers under the State Bank of India. The SBI conducts a post-wise selection process for candidates who meet the SBI SO Eligibility Criteria. While some positions like Data Protection officer are selected through Shortlisting and Interviews, some other posts might require the clearing of both an Online written test and an interview round. We have listed all the SBI SO posts carrying different selection procedures below.
SBI SO Selection Process
Generally, SBI SO selection process is divided in three phases as per the previous years’ SBI SO selection.
- Online Written Test
The first stage among the three major stages of the SBI SO selection process is the Online Written test, where the candidates will have to clear Paper 1 and Paper 2, also referred to as the preliminary exam and main exam. 2. Interview
Candidates, after clearing the online written test, are called for the interview round, where the recruiters analyze the overall personality of the candidates. Interview rounds hold 30% of the weightage in the selection process.
