The Board of Cricket Council of India (BCCI) has finally announced the final India Squad for ICC Cricket World 2023. Only a week is left before the start of ICC World Cup 2023, and BCCI has done a big change in the Indian squad.
Axar Patel who got injured during the Asia Cup 2023 has been ruled out from the World Cup squad. Now Ravichandran Ashwin will be replacing Axar Patel. Ashwin’s performance in the recently concluded ODI series against Australia has been great and the much-needed off-spinner in the Indian Cricket team.
Also, this is the first time that India is hosting the entire tournament on its own; before that, India co-hosted the ICC World Cup in 1996 with Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
A total of 10 teams qualified for the ICC World Cup 2023, and among all of them, Sri Lanka and the Netherlands became the last teams to qualify for the ICC World Cup 2023.

Some people are claiming that Rohit Sharma’s captaincy will not be best suited for the ICC World Cup 2023. So they’re recommending the name of all-rounder Hardik Pandya, but only time will tell who among them will lead Team India for the ICC World Cup 2023.
World Cup 2023 India Wicket-Keeper
Rishabh Pant, who has recently met with an accident, is not in a condition to play at the ICC World Cup 2023. Apart from Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul was another option, but due to his injury, he will most likely skip the tournament.
Now everybody is curious to know who will be handling the wicket-keeping responsibilities for the ICC World Cup 2023. KS Bharat can take on the responsibility of wicketkeeper as he is already playing in the WTC Final in 2023.
