32-year-old Nichole Coats was found dead in her apartment on September 10. The investigating authorities termed Coats’ death suspicious and said her cause of death would be revealed after a proper investigation.
Nichole used to work as a part-time sales rep and was an aspiring model. As to Nichole’s family, she abruptly stopped responding to their texts. Then Nichole’s father and aunt visited her apartment and faced their worst nightmare.
Nichole’s father on her Death
Nichole’s father told the media, “I went up to her bed and I touched her arm because it was extended out.” He added that, “She had a cover over her, and I touched her arm, but her whole body was swollen like it was inflamed.
“I believe it was murder, I really do. One of her legs was up in the air in a kicking position. That’s not somebody who just laid in their bed and died,” said Stevens.

Nichole’s family claimed that she was murdered and demanded an investigation accordingly. One of Nicole’s aunts, May Stevens, said, “I believe it was murder; I really do. One of her legs was up in the air in a kicking position. That’s not somebody who just laid in bed and died.”
Also, Nichole’s mother claimed that her daughter was murdered. She said, “This is senseless, and I want some answers because my daughter is gone.” Her mother added, “And it’s not fair. I want everybody to find out who did this to her. She shouldn’t be gone.”
That being said, Nichole Coats’ cause of death has now been disclosed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. According to the findings, alcohol and cocaine poisoning was Nichole Coats’ cause of death. Her death was declared an accident and no other factors were given. The case is currently marked as pending.
