Nikhil Siddharth’s film 18 Pages is out in cinemas. It is directed by Palnati Surya Pratap and marks his third directorial project after Current and Kumari 21F. The film was issued a UA certificate by the CBFC board with a runtime of 137 minutes or 2hr 17min.
Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran are playing the main lead roles in the film, it is the second collaboration for both actors this year after Karthikeya 2. 18Pages is produced by Bunny Vas under GA2 Pictures and Sukumar Writings.

It received mixed reviews from critics. The performances of the lead pair, Gopi Sundar’s music, the storyline, and the theme of Human emotions are the highlights of the movie. It received criticism for the slow second half and climax.
18 Pages Screen Count
18 Pages have been released in over 845 theatres worldwide which include around 385 screens in the home market. It has seen a wide release in the overseas market, it has been released in 400+ theatres in the overseas market.
The film has occupied 185 theatres in Andhra followed by 135 theatres in Nizam and 65 theatres in the Ceeded area.
18 Pages Budget & Break Even
It is made on a budget of 16 crores. The film has already collected Rs 22 Cr from the non-theatrical rights e.g digital, satellite and music rights. Therefore, it is already in a profit of 6 crores. The break-even target for 18 Pages is valued at 12.50 crores.
Box Office Collection
The film was expected to open well at the box office but as per the trade reports, it has taken a below-par start. It had taken a very good start in terms of occupancy rates during morning shows but failed to sustain the momentum over noon and evening shows. 18 Pages had an overall 23.63% occupancy on Fri (day 1).
On the other, Dhamaka which clashed with 18 Pages opened to rave response at the BO. As per the trade reports, Dhamaka affected the biz of 18 Pages. Nikhil’s film performed well in A centers but Dhamaka dominated the mass centers on Friday.
As per the Telugu BO tracker T2BLive, 18 Pages collected 3.45 Cr gross at the box office on the first day, which is a low start. However, the word of mouth for 18 Pages is positive, so far. It needs to perform very well on Saturday and Sunday to gain momentum.

Nikhil’s film will have to recover 12.50 crores distributers shares to emerge as a hit at the box office.
