Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Sandeep has directed the cult hit Arjun Reddy and its blockbuster Bollywood remake Kabir Singh.
‘Animal’ stirred much anticipation among the cinephiles due to its title as well as its genre of being a psychological thriller. It is touted to be a one-of-a-kind film.
Animal Release Date
The makers completed the pre-production of the movie in the first quarter of 2022, it went on floors on April 22 in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Bhushan Kumar said in an interview that Ranbir would be seen in the violent avatar in the film.
‘Animal’ will be released in cinemas on 11 Aug 2023 in five languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Star Cast of Animal
Earlier the Ishaqzaade fame Parineeti Chopra was roped in for the film, but later the actress opted out from the film after getting the chance to work in the ace director Imtiyaz Ali’s next Chamkila which will mark Parineeti-Imtiyaz’s first collab.
However, later the makers of Animal onboarded the south beauty, Rashmika Mandanna, for the lead actress role, it marks her third Hindi film after Goodbye and Mission Majnu. Rashmika recently debuted in Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye in which she received acclamation for her acting. She will soon be seen in Siddharth Malhotra starrer Mission Majnu.
Apart from Rashmika and Ranbir, Reddy’s directorial also features veteran actors Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the pivotal roles.

Ranbir starrer is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Pranay Reddy Vanga under their respective banner T-Series, Cine1 Studios, and Bhadrakali Pictures. The Dialogues in the film are written by Siddharth Garima, and the background score is given by Harshwardhan Rameshwar, which is being loved by the listeners in the announcement video.
