Pushpa: The Rise fame Pan India actor Rashmika Mandanna started her acting career in the 2016 sandalwood film Kirik Party, in which her role as Saanvi Joseph got critically acclaimed. She also won the SIIMA Award for her role in the category of Best Debut Actress-Kannada.
Rashmika was born in April 1996 (25) in Virajpet, Kodagu, Karnataka, she completed her graduation from M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Bangalore, Karnataka.
After debuting in the year’s highest-grossing Kannada film in 2016, the actress next year appeared in two films Anjani Putra in which she starred alongside late actor Puneeth Rajkumar and Suni directorial rom-com Chamak, in the latter, she fetched her first nomination in Filmfare awards south.
Rashmika became wildly famous among south movie-buffs through the 2018 Tollywood rom-com commercially successful film Geetha Govindham in which she shared screen space with Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda.
In a span of a very short film career, the actress has starred in many successful films Kirik Party, Chalo, Anjani Putra, Geetha Govidham, Yajamana, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Bheeshma, Pogaru, and Pushpa.
Her two films Pushpa: The Rise and Sarileru Neekevaru currently hold the fifth and seventh spot in the all-time Telugu highest-grosser films list respectively. She made her Kollywood debut in the year 2021 with the action drama Sulthan starring Karthi.
After appearing in all the major south Indian cinema in just six-seven years of her film career, the actress has also marked her Hindi cinema debut with Goodbye sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan.

Mission Majnu is the second Hindi release for Rashmika, before she was seen in Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan, backed by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta under the banner RSVP and Guilty By Association Media LLP.

Rashmika Mandanna replaces Parineeti Chopra in Ranbir Kapoor’s next action film called Animal. The first look poster of the movie was unveiled on 1 Jan 2023.
2- Pushpa: The Rule
The actress then will be seen in the sequel of her starrer 2021 pan-India blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise’s part 2. The film is titled Pushpa: The Rule. As per the recent reports, the film will go on floors in April 2022 and makers are planning to conclude the filming in 100 days, so, it is expected that Part 2 will wrap up by July this year.
Rashmika will be playing Srivalli’s character from the earlier part and Allu Arjun as Pushpa.
Helmed by Sukumar it will be made under the banner Mythri Movie Makers and Mutthamshetty Media. Fahad Faasil will be seen doing the main antagonist role. Though makers are yet to confirm, it is being said that Pushpa’s second part will hit cinemas in mid-2023.
