Directed and written by Ritesh Rana, Happy Birthday is an upcoming Telugu language crime comedy film starring actress Lavanya Tripathi in the lead role. The film is the second directorial venture of Rana following 2019 comedy thriller Mathu Vadalara starring Sri Simha and Satya.
The film began its production in November 2021 in Hyderabad while it was titled Happy Birthday in December 2021. The shoot was completed by May 2022.

Produced by Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, the film’s theatre release date was, July 8, 2022, and all set to release on OTT after one month, streaming on Netflix from 8th of Aug.

Happy Birthday Star Cast
Actress and model Lavanya Tripathi, the winner of Miss Uttarakhand 2006, who made her acting debut with Sony TV’s television series Pyaar Ka Bandhan, is the female lead playing Happy 340 in the film.
She has appeared in many successful Telugu films including Doosukeltha, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Soggade Chinni Nayana, Srirastu Subhamastu, Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi and Arjun Suravaram.
Ace comedian Vennnela Kishore is playing as Rithwik Sodhi in the film. Apart from these stars, Naresh Agastya is playing Lucky, Satya as Max Pain, Gundu Sudarshan as Uncle Fixit, Rahul Ramakrishna as Gunda, Getup Seenu as William, Ravi Teja as Benami, Vidyullekha Raman and Harsha Chemudu.

The trailer of the film was launched by ace- Tollywood director S.S. Rajamouli on June 29, 2022. The nearly 3-minute long trailer introduced the entire star cast in a funny and hilarious manner. The fun-filled elements and increasing twists increases the interest of the audience towards the film.
About the Film
Set in a fantasy world, the film follows a Union Minister Rithwik Sodhi, played by Vennela Kishore who passes a new gun law in the parliament that liberalizes the manufacturing and sale of firearms, leading to an increased gun culture in the country.
