Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu’s 28th film tentatively called SSMB28 had launched in Hyderabad on Thursday (Feb 3, 2022) with the puja ceremony. Many stills from the event had surfaced on social media platforms, then.
Fans were overjoyed by the news as the film had been making headlines for a long time and finally launched, they were trending the hashtag #SSMB28FirstClap on Twitter.

In the launch event main lead actress Pooja Hegde, director Trivikram Srinivas, and Namrata Shirodkar had appeared, while the latter’s hubby gave a miss.
Makers confirmed that the regular shooting of SSMB28 would be commenced from April 2022, now the latest reports suggest that Mahesh’s next will be titled on May 31st. His film latest release film is currently wreaking havoc at the box office, it grossed Rs 200 Cr+ mark in just 12 days.

Talking about Mahesh babu and director Trivikram’s collab both were last collaborated in the 2010 action comedy film Khaleja. Hence they are coming on the silver screens after almost 11yrs. SSMB28 marks the third collab between the director-actor duo after the 2005 action film Athadu and 2010’sĀ Khaleja.
The film is tentatively titled SSMB28 and touted to be a high octane action-filled drama, It is being financed by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika Hassien Creations.
Though there is no official announcement according to reports Malayalam actress Samyukhta Menon is also being featured in the film. She made her Mollywood debut in the year 2016 from the film Popcorn. She was recently seen in a bilingual film Erida.

S Thaman is composing the music for the film, his notable works include Ramayya Vastavayya, ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Vakeel Saab, and recently Akhanda.
R Madhi is handling the cinematography who also worked in Mahesh’s another film Sarakaru Vaari Paata and Naveen Nooli is handling the editing, in the year 2021 received the National Film Award for handling the editing for the sports drama film Jersey starring Nani.
