Mollywood versatile actor national film awardee Fahadh Faasil will soon be seen in a gripping Malayalam survival thriller film Malayankanju on the screens.
He was recently seen in the blockbuster film 2021 Pushpa, in which he played the role of the antagonist Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, he garnered a lot of praise from the critics and audience for his performance. Pushpa also marked the Telugu debut of Fahadh.
Music Maestro A.R Rahman has given the music in the film, also marks the return of Rahman’s in Mollywood cinema after almost three decades. Though the reports suggest that earlier makers have selected Dulquer Salman starrer Kurup fame Sushin Shyam as music composer later he is replaced by Rahman.

Malayankunju went on the floors in Jan 2021 in Erattupetta, Kottayam, Kerala, and reportedly the whole film is shot in Kerala state. On 24 Dec 2021 makers unveiled the trailer of the film on social media platforms, the trailer is well received by the audience, and as expected movie-lovers are appreciating Fahad’s act.
Trailer Review
As the trailer suggests the film is a survival thriller, in which Fahad is essaying a character of an electronics technician as Anirudhan aka Anikuttan.
And the story is set in the backdrop of landslides in Kerala. In the close to the two-minute trailer, Fahadh is seen struggling to get through from the debris of the mountain in the wake of a landslide. As expected A.R Rahman has done his job aptly, this film is truly an A.R Rahaman’s musical.

Along with Fahadh Faasil, Rajisha Vijayan (Karthika), Indrans (Surendran), Jaya Krurup (Shantha) she is essaying Fahad’s mother, Jaffar Idukki (Muraleedharan), Nija K Baby (Shyni), Deepak Parambol (Sumeshi), Johny Antony (Poulose), Jose M.V (H.C Chandrasan), Shyamaprasad (Dr. Farouk), and Sarath Kumar (Baiju) will be seen playing pivotal roles.

On Youtube, the trailer has been unveiled through Bhavana Studios’ official YouTube channel and viewed over 16 lakhs times so far with 63 thousand likes. Well Received by the viewers.
