After getting a positive response from its theatrical run, Dhananjaya starrer romantic action-entertainer Monsoon Raaga, which is directed by S. Ravindranath, is set to make its way to OTT.
The film is the Kannada remake of Venkatesh Maha directorial and Subba Rao starrer Telugu film C/o Kancharapalem, which won critical acclaim, won several awards, and was also screened at the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
The film is described as a “faithful” remake of the original blockbuster Telugu film, starring Rachita Ram in the female lead role alongside Daali Dhananjaya. Along with these two, it also features Yasha Shivakumar, Achyuth Kumar, Suhasini Maniratnam, Nihal, Suchitra, etc.

The film, which was released theatrically on September 16, 2022, is a slice-of-life anthology film featuring four different love stories of people of different age groups, and each story has something for everyone.
The story of the film revolves around schoolchildren Sundaram and Suchitra; thug Joseph and Brahmin girl Ragasudha; liquor shop employee Kate and his love interest Asma Bhanu (a sex worker); and an office attendant, Raja and a widow with a 20-year-old daughter, Hasini.
Rachita has played a sex worker in the film, and it is the first time she plays such a character. The plot of the story revolves around how love transcends all social and economic barriers and blooms on the hearts of these eight protagonists.
Monsoon Raaga OTT Release Date
The makers of the film had finalised its digital and OTT rights prior to its theatrical release. Zee Network has acquired both, making Zee Kannada the streaming platform. The film will premiere on the platform on December 9, 2022, and you can watch it by subscribing to its premium plan.
