My Name Is Shruti is an upcoming Telugu crime thriller which is directed and written by Srinivas Omkar, who is making his directorial debut with this film.
The film is produced by Buruga Ramya Prabhakar under the banner of Vaishnavi Arts along with Bandi Praveen Kumar. If we talk about technical work, Kishore Boyidapu is cranking the camera, Chota K. Prasad is handling the editing work while Mark K. Robin has composed the music and Krishna Kant has penned the lyrics of the songs.
My Name Is Shruti Star Cast
The crime thriller stars actress Hansika Motwani in the major lead role as Shruti, who is an Ad filmmaker. The actress was last seen in 2019 Telugu courtroom action comedy Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL alongside Sudeep Kishan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
Motwani predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil films and apart from that she has also acted in several Hindi films such as Koi… Mil Gaya as a child artist, Aap Kaa Surroor, Money Hai Toh Honey Hain etc.
Apart from this film, Hansika has a big pipeline of films lined up for this year such as Maha, Partner, 105 Minutes, Rowdy Baby. Also, she is teaming up with director Vijay Chander and is working on a project with director R. Kannan.
The upcoming film also stars Prema, Murali Sharma, Pooja Ramachandran, Raja Ravindra and Praveen Adukulam Naren in the key roles.

My Name Is Shruti Teaser
Actress Hansika Motwani on January 12, 2022, shared the official teaser of her thriller ‘My Name Is Shruti’. The 1.5-minute long, intriguing teaser introduced the actress as Shruti, who is an ad filmmaker.
Shruti is very creative but unlike her professional life, things are not going well for her in personal life, as some scenes in the teaser show that she is the victim of domestic violence.
The film throws light on Organ mafia networks and revolves around a mafia gang that is into the trading of human skin. The teaser further shows that India is right behind Nepal when it comes to supplying human skin.
My Name Is Shruti Release Date
The film was launched on July 4, 2021 with a Pooja Ceremony and shot with the unit taking all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, there is no official date confirmed for its release in theatres or OTT.
