India is all set to witness the grand opening of the glorious Ram Mandir which is being constructed at the Janmbhumi of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. The historic Ram Mandir’s construction is all completed and very soon the temple will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi.
The preparations for the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir are in process and amid that, the news came out that the four Jagadguru Shankaracharyas of the four mutts will not attend the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir. The Shankaracharyas refused to attend the consecration ceremony (Pran-prathisha) of Ram Mandir on 22 January 2024.

Ram Mandir’s Opening date
Ram Mandir’s construction is almost completed and for the inauguration of the temple, other important preparations are going on. Ram Mandir will be integrated on 22 January 2023. The preparations of the ceremony will be completed by 15 January and the praan pratistha puja will start on 16 January and will continue till 22 January.
According to Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ram Mandir Trust, the temple will be opened for devotees from 23 January 2023, and after the consecration ceremony, ‘Mandal puja’ will be held from 24 January for 48 days as per the rituals and traditions.
Ram Mandir Budget & Area
Ram Mandir’s construction started on 5 August 2020 after the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony. The main constructors of the temple are Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and the allied facilities will be provided by Tata Consultancy Engineers Ltd. The estimated budget of Ram Mandir is around 18000 crore rupees.
Some reports are to be believed that a section of Ram Mandir will be integrated and opened in January 2024. The entire project of Ram Mandir is planned to be completed in December 2024 which is the official deadline. The Ram Mandir Trust has also raised funds from donations around the country.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is supervising the Ram Mandir’s construction. The temple covers 54,700 sq ft which is nearly 2.7 acres of land. The entire Ram Mandir complex will spread over around 70 acres and will be equipped to host around a million devotees at a time. The idol of Lord Ram will be installed in the sanctum-sanctorum (garbha-griha) of Ram Mandir.
Ram Mandir Inaugration ticket & more
Ram Mandir’s inauguration ceremony will be a massive event of 2024 and the detailed guest list includes 4,000 saints and 2,200 other guests and a million devotees are also expected. The inauguration ticket can be booked by any devotee through the official website of Ram Mandir srjbtkshetra.org, and can book darshan by choosing the date and number of people and can generate the tickets.
The guest list includes some renowned politicians of the country, and heads of major temples like Kashi Vishwanath, Vaishno Devi, and many more. Representatives of religious and constitutional institutions have been invited. Spiritual leader Dalai Lama, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Mata Amritanandamayi of Kerala.
Some renowned Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Rajnikanth, Arun Govil, and director Madhur Bhandarkar are also invited to the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir. Renowned industrialists like Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, ISRO director Nilesh Desai, and famous painter Vasudev Kamart are also incited to the ceremony.
