On February 20, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Kalki Dham Temple in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. This event was attended by various religious leaders and dignitaries from different parts of the country.
Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, which is led by former Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam is responsible for the construction of the Kalki Dham temple. This new temple will be dedicated to Lord Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
It is believed that Lord Kalki will be born in this very place. Also, one of the most unique aspects of this temple is that, unlike other temples, Kalki Dham was built before the actual birth of the avatar.
