RBI Grade B 2023 Exam Patter – Phase I
The Phase I exam is conducted as a screening round. The marks obtained in this round are not considered in the final selection process. The exam consists of only objective-type questions. For four sections totalling 200 marks, candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the exam.

- There are altogether 4 sections in the exam – general awareness, English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability.
- Phase I exam is bilingual in nature. Candidates may take the exam in Hindi or English, except for the English language component.
- For each correct answer, candidates get one mark; for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.
- The exam is conducted in multiple shifts based on the number of participating aspirants.
RBI Grade B 2023 Exam Pattern – Phase II

The RBI will separately release the exam pattern for the RBI Grade B DERP post. The selection is based on an online/written exam followed by an interview. The exam consists of three papers. Paper-I (Economics Objective), Paper-II (Economics-Descriptive ) and Paper-III (English-Descriptive)

The selection for the RBI Grade B DSIM post is based on an online/written exam followed by an interview. Three papers make up the test. Paper-I (objective statistics), Paper-II (descriptive statistics), and Paper-III (descriptive English)

RBI Grade B 2023 Interview
Candidates who pass the Phase I and Phase II rounds will participate in the interview round. The interview consists of 75 marks. Before appearing for the interview, candidates must pass a psychometric test.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined score of Phase II and the interview round. The roll number of the candidates who will be chosen for the post of RBI Grade B officer will be posted on the RBI website.
