Baaghi 3 2nd Day Box Office Collection Update: Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3 Witnesses a Slight Drop In The Collection On Saturday, Collects Rs 16 Crore.
As expected Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi 3 is struggling at the domestic box office. Reports suggest that the film witnessed a drop of around 10% in the collection, compared to Friday. This won’t come as a big surprise as the film been written off by the critics. The audience has also given mixed reviews to this logic-less action entertainer. Baaghi 3 second day box office collection is around Rs 16 crore. The total collection after two days stands at Rs 33+ crore.
Baaghi 3 is performing well in small cities of mass centres like UP, Rajasthan, MP and Delhi. As expected these centres saw some drop on Saturday. However, a drop in metros and multiplexes on Saturday came as a shocker. This suggests that the film is rejected in high-end multiplexes like PVR, INOX, Cinepolis etc.
Released on 4400 screens, Baaghi 3 collected Rs 17.5 crore on its opening day. Although this is a pretty good number, the expectations were huge as the film created a good pre-release buzz. Baaghi 3 became the highest opening day grosser of 2020 beating Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. However, its first-day collection is less than Baaghi 2 (Rs 25.1 crore).
#Baaghi3 slows on Day 2… Single screens strong, metro multiplexes ordinary… Should witness growth on Day 3… Day 5 [#Holi] should see substantial footfalls, post noon onwards… Eyes ₹ 52 cr [+/-] weekend… Fri 17.50 cr, Sat 16.03 cr. Total: ₹ 33.53 cr. #India biz.

Corona Virus scare, exam season, pre-Holi phase has affected the film’s collections to some extent. But it remains the fact that Baaghi 3 is a weak film. Good films work at the box office irrespective of what the conditions are. Overall, Baaghi 3 has failed to impress the audience. The film is completely rejected by the critics as well.
After a drop on Saturday, Baaghi 3 makers would be hoping the collection to grow on Sunday. The film has a good 3-day holiday period to consolidate the box office. Will it be able to cover the lost ground? Let’s wait and watch. Baaghi 3 is a big-budget film with the production cost of Rs 120 crore. It needs to cross Rs 160 crore to be a box office hit.
