Chhapaak Box Office Collection Day 6: Struggle Continues For Deepika Padukone’s Film As It Fails To Get Going At The Box Office.
Deepika Padukone Chhapaak is struggling big time. It seems that the film has been rejected by the audience. Trade experts are still trying to figure out, what went wrong with the film. Despite the tremendous pre-release buzz and superb critics reviews, the film is seeking audience from the first day itself.
Despite Makar Sankranti holiday, the film fails to gain any momentum in the last two days. This pretty much tells the story. Though the film has no mass appeal, it is really surprising that even multiplex audience looks uninterested.
It’s been a poor box office journey for Chhapaak. The film had an average opening as it collected just Rs 4.77 crore on Friday. It gained some momentum over the weekend and collected Rs 4.97 crore and Rs 5.35 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. However, the film crashed on Monday and since then there is no revival.
On Monday, it collected Rs 2.35 crore followed by Rs 2.55 crore on Tuesday. Now, on Wednesday, the film witnessed minimal growth due to Makar Sankranti holiday. Early trends suggest that Chhapaak collected Rs 2.60 crore on Wednesday (day 6). The total collection of the film after six days is around Rs 26.6 crore.
