The approximate collectiosn recorded were Rs 4.74 crores which is lesser than the opening day collections of ‘Commando 2’ (Rs 5.16 crores).
As tweeted by Taran Adarsh, the film will have to cover a lot of ground on Day 2 and Day 3 to be able to attain the ‘Box Office Hit’ mark. The Day 2 collections of ‘Commando 2’ summed up to Rs 5.64 crores on Saturday.

‘Commando 3’ is gaining a lot of attraction due Vidyut Jammwal and Gulshan Deviah’s stellar acting performance. The stars have put their best foot forward which shows well on the cinema screens. The film also starred Adah Sharma and debutante Angira Dhar in barely-there kinda roles. These actresses are seen wearing deep necks and plunging necklines in an action film. They look confused and out of place in ‘Commando 3’.
Vidyut Jammwal’s action flick is a strictly ‘action lover’ Bollywood buff. The weak story line, sketchy dialogues and tacky one-liners barely hold your interest together. Even though the action sequences featuring Vidyut Jammwal are beyond amazing, it is Gulshan Deviah’s evil portrayal of the ‘biggest enemy of the nation’ that steals the show. The film is a good watch for those interested in a ‘maar-dhaad-kinda-entertainer’.
‘Commando 3’ is produced by Reliance Entertainment & Motion Picture Capital in association with Sun Shine Pictures and Vipul Amrutlal Shah Production. The project is made on a budget of 25 crores.
