Dabangg 3 Box Office Collection Day 11: Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 holds well on its second Monday, estimated to earn around Rs 2.4 crore.
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 is nearing the end of its box office journey as the collections are going down to lower level. Despite good hold on its second Monday, the film is struggling to cross Rs 150 crore mark. With the arrival of Akshay Kumar’s Good Newwz, Dabangg 3 has almost collapsed at the box office. Salman Khan starrer has no takers in metros and multiplexes.
Coming to Dabangg 3 second Monday box office report, the film recorded 20%-25% occupancy which is in the same range as second Friday. However, ticket prices were lower on Monday and hence the collection is less.
Early estimates suggest that Dabangg 3 11th day box office collection is around Rs 2.4 crore. The film has crossed Rs 140 crore mark on its second Monday. Dabangg 3 should witness good growth in numbers on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is the last chance for the film to cross Rs 150 crore mark. If the collections fall on Tuesday and Wednesday then crossing Rs 150 crore mark will be an impossible task.
The lifetime collection of Dabangg 3 will be less than Dabangg 2 (Rs 155 crore) which was released in 2012. Just to carry forward the franchise, Salman Khan and his team delivered one of the worst films of the year.
Dabangg 3’s underperformance is a big blow for Salman Khan. He may have made a lot of money with this film but he himself knows that he has disappointed his fans. It’s been a poor year for Salman as both his releases, Bharat and Dabangg 3 failed to meet the expectations. Both films were written down by the critics and failed to match audience expectations.
