Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakulpreet Singh starrer rom-com De De Pyaar De has crossed 100 crore mark at the domestic box office. Despite an average opening, the film stayed strong at the box office owing to good WOM and managed to enter elite 100 crore club.
De De Pyaar De had an eventful box office journey. Released with good expectations, the film started its box office journey on a low note and earned just 9.42 crores on its opening day. However, it witnessed a good jump over the weekend thanks to positive WOM and critic reviews. The film collected over 35 crores in the opening weekend. It continues to hold well on weekdays and collected 61 crores in the week.
In the second week, the film benefits from weak competition from India’s Most Wanted and PM Narendra Modi. In the second week, De De Pyaar De earned 22+ crores to take its total week total to 84+ crores.
