Bollywood’s most-loved couple, Deepika and Ranveer celebrated their first wedding anniversary with families at Lord Venkateshwara Temple at Tirumala. The couple decided to fly down to Andhra Padhes to seek the blessings of the almighty for their happily wedded life.
The pictures of the alluring couple from Tirupati Balaji have now gone viral. Deepika is seen dressed in a traditional red and gold saree with classic gold necklaces and jhumkas to accessorise the look.
Besides her gleaming smile, it’s her long sindoor that catches the attention. As for the ‘Gunday’ star, he is seen sporting a traditional cream and magenta pink sherwani with sleek sunglasses to match. It seems the couple colour-coordinated their beautiful outfits to commemorate their first wedding anniversary.
Deepika also took to Instagram to share a mesmerizing picture of the couple from the shrine. Both of them look-so-much-in-love in the picture.
The picture-perfect couple were joined by their families including Deepika and Ranveer’s parents and siblings. While Ranveer’s father donned a simple cream kurta, sister Ritika Bhavnani wore a gracefully red Anarkali suit and mother, Anju Bhavnani sported a bright sunny yellow suit with matching gold jhumkas. The Bhavnani’s sure look like a royal pack.
On the contrary, Deepika’s mother looked regal in a gold silk saree with gold necklaces to match, sister Anisha Padukone wore a very simple white printed kurta with plain dupatta. The former Indian badminton player, Deepika’s father wore a cheery coral coloured kurta.
As per the reports, the couple is also due to visit the Padmavathi Temple in Tirupati today. This session of offering prayers will be followed by a quick visit to the Golden Temple, Amritsar on 15 November where the couple would seek blessings of the almighty. Unlike most newlywed couples, Deepika-Ranveer is surely keeping it very traditional and simple in terms of anniversary celebrations.
The power couple Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in a traditional Konkani style wedding at the stunning Villa Del Balbianello at Lake Como, Italy. The South-Indian style wedding was followed by a big fat Sindhi wedding at the same location. Prior to the actual wedding, the couple thoroughly enjoyed their times at the Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies.
The numerous wedding festivities were followed by grand reception parties in Bangalore (Deepika’s hometown), Mumbai and Delhi (Ranveer’s hometown). The luxury reception parties were attended by who’s who of Bollywood, media, friends and families of the beautiful couple. The super-fun couple sported some note-worthy Sabyasachi looks to all of their parties, thereby setting wedding trends for the nation to follow.
