If reports are to be believed then Hrithik Roshan’s 2014 hit film Bang Bang has a sequel on cards. The actor has given his nod for it.
Hrithik Roshan fans are eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Super 30’ which is all set to hit the screens on July 26. It will be superstar’s first film in two years. The actor was last seen in ‘Kaabil’ which was a box office hit. Apart from Super 30, Hrithik is also shooting for his unnamed action film alongside Tiger Shroff.
Now, the latest reports suggest that the handsome actor hs given his nod to star in the sequel of his 2014 hit film ‘Bang Bang’ in which he starred alongside Katrina Kaif.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Bang Bang was an official remake of the 2010 Hollywood flick Knight and Day which featured Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. It also starred Javed Jaffrey, Pawan Malhotra, Jimmy Shergill and Danny Denzongpa among others.
Bang Bang was one of the successful movies of the year. It grossed around 340 crores and is currently among Hrithik’s biggest hits.
As per the latest reports, the second instalment will be tentatively titled ‘Bang Bang Reloaded’. Siddharth Anand, who is currently working with Tiger and Hrithik on an action film, will be again helming the project. The makers are reportedly trying to get Katrina Kaif on board.
On the work front, Hrithik is all set for Super 20 release in which he plays mathematician Anand Kumar. Slated for release on 26 July, ‘Super 30’ is set for a box office clash with Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Mental Hai Kya’.
The actor is currently shooting for an action film which also stars Tiger Shroff and Vani Kapoor. It will hit the big screens on 2 October 2019. Krrish 4 is also in pipeline and is expected to hit the theatres on Christmas next year.
